Youth Empowerment

May 12 – 14 (Amrita University, Coimbatore Campus)

Global Internet Governance, Digital Empowerment and Security Alliance (GLIDES)

The Safe & Brave Online initiative by the TST division of C20, in collaboration with AYUDH India, represents our commitment to a safer digital future for young people. The digital landscape offers limitless possibilities but also brings potential challenges, and our aim is to help youth navigate this complex terrain with confidence and awareness.

Through this initiative, we will address critical issues such as discerning fake sites, understanding the risks of interacting with online strangers, promoting a balanced digital diet, addressing gaming addiction, and discussing the physical and mental impact of screen use. Our mission is not just to make our youth tech-savvy, but also to instill a sense of digital prudence.

As we step into the future, the Safe & Brave Online initiative aims to transform the internet into a secure and productive platform, where technology is a positive force. Join us in making the online world a safer place for our younger generations. Together, we can bridge the gap between being digitally informed and digitally safe.

Message from the Chair, C20 India 2023

Our Inspiration

Amma sees the whole world as a flower. Each petal represents a nation. If one petal is infested with pests, it will affect the other petals as well. The beauty of the whole flower suffers. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to protect and nurture this flower. All living beings in creation are interdependent. The rhythm of Nature depends upon humanity. It’s necessary to maintain the rhythm of the mind and body for the sake of our health and lifespan, for the sake of humankind and Nature.
Amma,
Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi ❤️
