Participate In The
CSO's Survey On NET ZERO EMISSIONS MANAGEMENT IN G20 AND INVITEE NATIONS

One of the primary activities of the SRC WG is an outreach to pioneering CSO’s in G20 and Invitee Nations. This outreach is aimed at gaining authentic, on-the-ground insights and perspectives on the countries’ efforts towards net zero emissions management, the CSO’s valuable contributions for the same and their policy recommendations for a truly sustainable and just transition to global net zero emissions. To this end, we have carefully prepared a survey titled Net Zero Emissions Management in G20 and Invitee Countries, which has been attached herewith.

We are happy to invite you to contribute towards policy recommendations to C20 through your active participation in this survey.

The specific aspects of the survey include:
  • Your CSO’s specific expertise in the broader theme of Net Zero Emissions Management,
  • Your CSO’s proposed solutions and activities toward Net Zero Emissions Management,
  • Your CSO’s assessment of your country’s targets, roadmaps, monitoring mechanisms, financing for Net Zero Emissions Management,
  • On-the-ground implementation challenges your CSO has faced, including reaching vulnerable communities,
  • Policy and financing bottlenecks your CSO has faced,
  • Best practices that your CSO recommends,
  • Your CSO’s policy recommendations.

Your valuable contributions will enrich our efforts in accurately presenting to the G20 the present status of global efforts, the challenges faced, ways forward and policy recommendations for a sustainable transition to net zero emissions while ensuring climate justice. We would highly appreciate it if you could also reach out to other CSO’s among your contacts and request them to also participate. We wholeheartedly thank you for your valuable efforts, time and active participation, and we very much look forward to hearing from you!

Message from the Chair, C20 India 2023

Our Inspiration

Nature is so out of balance these days,” Amma said. “We see very clearly how the climate is changing. In the non-rainy season, it often rains very heavily. The summers are getting hotter and longer. In some places where it has never snowed before, suddenly snow is falling. Crops are failing. Trees do not bear fruit. We need to proceed carefully with the awareness that each of us has a responsibility to protect Mother Nature. From planting trees and recycling to carpooling to not using wasteful plastic—each of us must do our part and pray for God’s grace. These days it seems everyone is aware of their rights, but no one is aware of their responsibilities.”
Amma,
Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi ❤️
