The World Environment Day was celebrated at the Amrita Vidyalayam Secunderabad in a grand scale. It came as a C20 program and was presided by chief guest MS Krishnakutty (Life coach and principal adviser of Skoodle learning) and Swamini Suvidyamrita Prana, AV’s prinicipal. Around 325 students from Takshshila Public school and Amrita Vidyalayam participated.
The program included the formation of the C20 logo, part of the One Million Lights campaign, an initiative by C20’s working group Gender Equality & Women Empowerement.
The students and the teachers also made around 30,000 + seed balls, part of a campaign organized by the C20 Sustainable & Resilient Communities working group.
