About Faridabad

Faridabad is an integral part of the national capital region. It is also one of the largest and populous cities of the state of Haryana. Faridabad shares its boundaries with Delhi to the north, Gurugram to the west and the state of Uttar Pradesh in east and south. The close proximity to New Delhi is an added advantage that makes Faridabad a preferred destination. The river Yamuna forms the eastern boundary of the Faridabad district.

The climate of Faridabad is quite similar to that of New Delhi and reaches extremes. It is excessively hot and dry, except during the monsoons. The monsoons period in Faridabad is from last week of June to September. It is characterized by high humidity and heavy rainfall. Summers are usually from March to June and the temperature ranges between 28 and 48 degree Celsius. The cold winds from higher Himalayan region make winters in Faridabad harsh and bone-chilling. The winter temperatures fall to as low as 3 to 4 degree Celsius. Considering its prime location, Faridabad is a great choice for both commercial as well as residential purposes. Over the past few years the city has seen a major boom in the business sector.
